If you live in our intake area and would like to apply to enrol at our school, start by submitting an online enrolment application . It is a requirement when you fill out your application that you also attach your child's original birth certificate, proof of address and their immunisation record. For more details on what else you need to supply, view the Enrolment documents required (PDF 142.5KB) these are also noted on the back page of the Application to Enrol form.

What is Kindergarten Orientation?
Kindergarten Orientation is a kindergarten program that allows students to meet teachers, familiarise themselves with the school and find out about the types of activities the children will be doing in Kindergarten.
When children attend this program, they settle into the first few weeks of school with greater ease, because they gain positive memories of the school and become keen and enthusiastic to attend.
Kindergarten Orientation 3 -day Program
After completing enrolment for your child at Berala Public School, set them up for a successful transition to school by participating in a 3-day Kindergarten Orientation program. Over the course of three weeks, your child will have the opportunity to attend three fun and engaging sessions in our Kindergarten classrooms. Children will be able to meet the teachers, play with other children starting school the following year and meet their Year 4 or Year 5 buddy and build a positive relationship with their new school.
Session 1 Thursday 31 October 2024 9:15-10:30am
Children in the Kindergarten classrooms for some play and an activity to take home. Parent information session and morning tea.
Session 2 Thursday 7 November, 2024 9:15am -10:30am
Children in the Kindergarten classrooms completing a literacy activity that they can take home with them while parents enjoy a tour of the school.
Session 3 Thursday 14 November, 2024 9:15am -10:15am
Children in Kindergarten classrooms completing a numeracy activity that they can take home with them, and uniforms can be purchased from the hall and kindy packs can be collected.
Family Teddy Bears Picnic & Mingle with your Buddy

Following the Kindergarten Orientation program, we would like all families to join us for a family 'Teddy Bears Picnic' at school. Parents, carers and our Kindergarten 2025 students are welcome to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to get to know their new school and classmates, and for parents to connect with each other and the Berala Public School teachers. Our Year 4 and Year 5 buddies will also be joining us to continue building relationships with our newest students.
Please bring along your favourite soft toy and a morning tea snack and a blanket/mat to sit on.
