How to apply for the Stage 3 Enrichment Class for 2027
We are pleased to inform you that applications are now open for the Stage 3 (Year 5 & 6) Enrichment Class for 2027. This program offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in enriched learning experiences. Who can apply?
Students currently in Years 4 and 5 from all school sectors who satisfy entry requirements may apply.
Applications
- Applications open: Monday 25 May 2026 (Week 6, Term 2)

Late applications may not be accepted, as this process supports fair and consistent selection procedures.
Enrichment Class Entry Assessment
Students who apply will be invited to participate in an entry assessment process designed to identify students demonstrating high potential.
- Entry test: Monday 21 September (Week 10, Term 3)
- Location: On-site at school
- Time: 90 minute examination
All applicants will receive further information regarding assessment requirements and arrangements closer to the date.
Placement Outcomes Released
Following the assessment process, families will be notified of outcomes.
- First round offers released: Friday 16 October 2026 (Week 1, Term 4)
- Class placements confirmed: Friday 13 November 2026 (Week 5, Term 4)
Transition Program
Students who accept an offer into the Enrichment Class will be invited to participate in a transition program in Term 4. This program is designed to support a smooth and confident start, build relationships, and introduce students to the expectations, routines and learning opportunities within the class.
